Python & AI Agent Development

From an AI idea to a business workflow your team can use.

Custom Python software connects the model to your data, tools and operating rules. We scope agents that research approved sources, retrieve internal knowledge, prepare structured information and coordinate specific tasks—with clear checks before consequential actions.

Start with one use case, representative examples and a measurable acceptance test.

What could your first agent do?

  • Knowledge assistant: retrieve relevant passages from an approved document collection and show the sources behind an answer.
  • Document workflow: extract agreed fields, check their format and route uncertain results to a reviewer.
  • Research assistant: collect information from permitted sources, organize evidence and prepare a briefing for human review.
  • Operations assistant: classify a request, consult an API and draft the next step, with approval before external changes.

These are illustrative project patterns. The pilot defines which tools the agent can use, which data it can access and what it must do when it cannot complete a task.

The right role for each tool

Python development

Custom API integrations, data processing, validation and application logic around the agent. Python provides the business-specific code that a generic chatbot does not have.

LangChain

A framework for building agents and connecting model interfaces and tools. We assess it for agent behaviors and integrations that suit the project.

LangGraph

Orchestration for stateful workflows: explicit steps, routing, persistence and human review. Useful when a process must pause, resume or handle different paths.

OpenClaw integrations

A self-hosted gateway for connecting supported messaging channels to AI agents. We can scope setup and custom Python API tools around a selected channel and use case. OpenClaw is a separate platform, not a Python framework.

A pilot with a defined handover

  1. Agree one task, allowed sources, tools and success criteria.
  2. Implement the Python components and the agent workflow in the selected environment.
  3. Test representative examples, invalid inputs, tool failures and uncertain answers.
  4. Document configuration, review steps, dependencies and ongoing responsibilities.

ILLUSTRATIVE PROJECT

An enquiry assistant reads a request, retrieves approved service information, validates key fields and prepares a response for your team. A reviewer approves the message before it is sent. The project includes sample-based evaluation and an agreed fallback when the assistant lacks enough information.

Designed for controlled operation

We define permissions, approval points and operating limits as part of the workflow. API credentials belong in the agreed deployment environment. Logs, evaluation examples and clear failure handling help your team review behavior rather than rely on a demo alone.

Model usage, hosting, third-party subscriptions, channel support and maintenance are assessed separately. A VPS or managed runtime may be needed for an agent; this static website only presents the service. We agree those dependencies before quoting.

What to bring to the first conversation

  • The recurring task and the decisions the assistant should help with.
  • Sanitized sample documents, requests and examples of a good result.
  • The tools, data sources, users and approvals involved.
  • Expected usage, deployment requirements and an initial operating budget.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before we build.

Is this just a chatbot?

A chat interface can be one part of the project. The work may also include retrieval, tool calls, structured outputs, workflow state and a review interface.

Do we need multiple agents?

Only when separate roles improve the task and can be evaluated. A single agent or a deterministic Python workflow may be a better starting point.

Can you work with an existing agent?

We can scope a review of one issue, such as unreliable tool calls, poor retrieval or a missing approval step. A sanitized example and a description of the failure help define the work.

Are you affiliated with these platforms?

No partnership or certification is claimed. We select tools according to project requirements. Product names belong to their respective owners.
